Abington Hall is located on the main road through the village and is adjacent to the Abington Hotel. It is used by community groups as well as for local functions and events, and the primary school uses it for physical education and drama. The accommodation comprises a main hall, small meeting room, kitchen and toilet facilities.

The main hall is 70sqm in area and can accommodate up to 80 seated in concert style and up to 60 for a catered function.

There is on street parking at this hall.

The Arcadia Music Cafe in Biggar can seat up to 60 people in theatre style. It is situated directly beside the 'Arcadia Music Shop', and can be accessed by the driveway leading up to the shop. There ample car parking on the street.

The Corn Exchange is the perfect venue for a great 'Wee Gig'. Seating 114 in racked theatre style, or slightly less in a cafe style with tables. The venue has terrific stage with full P.A. and lighting.

It can run a fully licensed bar if required. This will be operated by Biggar Theatre Workshop, with all proceeds going to the charity.

Disabled Persons: The Corn Exchange has a chair lift facility for disabled persons. Please notify the Corn Exchange in advance if you are attending an event and require to use the chair.

Crawford Hall is situated in the heart of the village opposite the local primary school. This hall is used by various community groups along with local functions and events. The hall comprises a main hall, kitchen and toilets. The main hall is 94sqm in area and can accommodate up to 120 people seated in concert style and up to 75 for catered functions. The kitchen is suitable for small functions and customers can provide their own teas and coffees. This facility can be used for a variety of community, social and commercial activities including but not restricted to Courses and Classes, Arts and Crafts, Sports Activities, Community Meetings, Birthday Parties, Engagement Parties, Discos, Wedding Receptions, Slimming Clubs, Martial Arts etc

Built in 1999 and refurbished throughout in 2017, this purpose built facility is an ideal venue for concerts, parties, meetings and community events.

Operated by the Crawfordjohn Public Hall Association, who are local volunteers, the hall is run on a not for profit basis - guaranteeing a first class facility at an excellent price!

Location

The hall is set in the heart of the village of Crawfordjohn and enjoys panoramic views over the surrounding countryside. Only fifteen minutes from the M74 and centrally located for people travelling south from Scotland and north from England.

The Wee Gig in Abington can seat up to 40 people in theatre style. It is situated directly behind the 'Abington General Store', and can be accessed by the driveway to the side of the store. There is a car park on the left, about 100mtrs after the store. Limited street parking is also available.

The West Linton Village Centre can seat up to 35 people in theatre style. It is situated in the centre of the village, in Raemartin Square, close to the village chemist shop. There is on street car parking in the Main Street. Village Centre users often park by the picturesque Lower Green just round the corner from the Village Centre itself.
