Scottish Comedian of the Year Finalist, 2008 and 2010, Graham Mackie introduces a selection of our country's best up and coming comedy stars, and established faces on the comedy circuit. Getting your night off to a great start will be Graham Stewart with his hilarious mix of comedy and magi, followed by a 2012 Comedian of the Year Finalist, Harry Garrison. Finally to round of your night of hilarity, Jim Smith will have you in stitches as he puts over his view of the 'alternative' side of Perthshire farming. All in all we have no doubt we are in for a great night of Scottish comedy, which incidentally also welcomes in the start of British Summer Time. What is there not to smile about?
Well-known and established comedian, who performs stand-up in Glasgow and the surrounding area. He was a Finalist in Scottish comedian of the year 2008 and 2010 and makes regular appearances on BBC Radio Scotland's Call Kay, and The Fred MacAulay Show. '... an inherently warm, likeable character who instinctively brought a spark of joy to the shivering auditorium' (Chortle) '... Neilston's very own Santa Claus' (HaHa Comedy Scotland).
Graham Stewart's comedy comes in all different shapes and sizes and Graham’s award winning comedy-magic, presented in Tommy Cooper style, will have you in stitches. His death defying demonstrations of daftness will leave your cheeks sore.
Glasgow based Harry Garrison was a finalist in Scottish Comedian Of The Year 2012. His comedy routine which includes several hilarious self penned songs have been making the North East laugh for years now. Not for the easily offended.
A Perthshire farmer turned stand-up who has been a finalist in the Scottish Comedian of the Year and So You Think You’re Funny? Competitions. Jim has now been gigging in major clubs around the country and is probably one of the best up and and coming comedians in Scotland.
