Join us at Crawfordjohn for what promises to be a great evening of Rock n’ Roll, when we welcome back Scotland’s top Status Quo tribute band to The Wee Gig.  Status No specialise in getting the music right, capturing that authentic boogie sound much loved by Quo-heads everywhere, including bluesy harmonicas and old style piano just like the originals.  StatusNo points to those little visual clues that leaves you in no doubt what the show is all about while avoiding the tired clichés of wigs and character impersonation.

    • Martyn Joseph, 11th July, 2018

It is with great excitement that we announce Martyn Joseph's only Scottish 'solo' show this summer will be at our very own Wee Gig, in front of an audience of ONLY forty attentive music lovers.

Some artists will entertain you for an evening, then will disappear into the 'back catalogue' of your memory.  Martyn Joseph will capture you from the first song, and plant himself in your 'top ten' for ever more.  A truly gifted songwriter, Martyn's career has spanned over 30 years, 30+ albums, and thousands of live performances, and the versatility of his music touches genres of folk, rock, soul, folk funk and Americana.  Yet somehow all these labels cannot define the spirit of his music.  His lyrics are driven by passion, social awareness and love for his trade, and his music manages to empower and speak for the many.

    • Willy Porter with Luke Jackson, 20th October, 2018

Don't miss what could be 'arguably' described as the highlight of the Wee Gig's 2018 calendar. Two artists to whom words cannot do justice: Willy Porter, an acoustic picker of Olympian speed, is one of the finest guitarists you will ever see. He will be joined by Luke Jackson who sings with an extraordinarily rich and powerful voice, and possesses a guitar technique astonishing for an artist only just in his twenties

A real coup for the Wee Gig, and for The Biggar Little Festival, this is one gig you really must not miss.
